Gunning Trench Heating

General
Gunning Trench Heating is ideal for offsetting a downdraught from full height glazed perimeter walls, such as Conservatories, or anywhere that wall height is of a premium. The even distribution of heat along the perimeter prevents cold spots,

Gunning Trench units, can be fitted above ground if required. The front fascia panel can be supplied powder coated in various Ral colours to match surrounding decor.
Alternatively a timber clad fascia can be used to match other furnishings.

Construction
The casing is manufactured from 1.2mm zintec steel sheet and is finished in matt black on the inside face. All internal Cross-braces, element supports and air splitter baffles, are manufactured from 1.2mm zintec, with matching paint finish.

Fixing
Levelling feet are provided at 500mm centers along the length of the case. The adjustment is made by lowering or raising the 8mm machine bolt fitted through the base. There are also holes through the base, for fixing the unit firmly in place.
Each section of case is normally supplied in lengths of upto 2000mm. Slip joints are then provided so each section can be joined by pop riveting them together.
The width is maintained by the use of cross braces, they are located at 500mm centers. It should be noted that the trench casing is constructed to take vertical loads. And therefore their lateral stability is achieved by close fitting of the surrounding floor or building structure.

Grilles
The Silver anodised aluminium cross blade flexible grille is of "Hi-Tec" appearance, and can give outputs upto 1 KW per metre.

Corners
Corners can be butted up to each other, or infill, from a 2mm satin anodised aluminium plate, bonded to a 20mm MDF backing. Grilles are supplied with 60% Free Area as standard. But 30%, 50%,and 70% Free Area grilles are available, but cost and performance will be affected.
